The five-inch gun on the USS Buchanan fires at targets on shore, north of Dong Hoi. The destroyer is taking part in Operation Sea Dragon. Several U.S naval ships are taking part in the operation, conducting naval bombardments at targets north of Dong Hoi, North Vietnam.
