April 19th, 1960 – The April Revolution begins as students in South Korea hold a nationwide pro-democracy protests opposing president Syngman Rhee.
April 19th, 1975Vietnam War: South Vietnamese forces evacuate from Xuan Loc in the last major battle of the Vietnam War.
April 21st, 1989 – In commemoration of Chinese reform leader Hu Yaobang, approximately 100,000 students gather in Tiananmen Square
April 22nd, 2019 – The 6.1 magnitude 2019 Luzon earthquake strikes and kills at least 18 people in the Philippines.
April 24th, 1970 – Dong Fang Hong I is launched by China and reaches orbit, becoming the fifth nation to do so.
