Walter and Gracie Lantz during their stay in the Republic of Korea visited school children at the Seoul American School. Lantz drew his famous cartoon character, Woody Woodpecker, and Gracie, the voice of Woody, did the famous Woody Woodpecker call. Youngsters at the American School were intrigued with Walter's creations of Woody and Chilly Willy, and the sound of Woody's famous call done by Gracie. Ms. Stafford Lantz was constantly asked to repeat the call she has been doing for some 25 years.
