Khe Sanh, 1968

Coming in with the helicopter onto Khe Sanh are mail, newspapers, and other small things. The continuous harassing fire from North Vietnamese located in the surrounding hills has cut back on the number of aircrafts actually landing at the base. Most resupply is now done by airdrops or by helicopter sling. As it is, even planes making air drops are subjected to enemy fire.
