Supplies dropped out of an Air Force C-130 cargo plane pummel to the ground in the drop zone at Khe Sanh. The continuous harassing fire from North Vietnamese located in the surrounding hills has cut back on the number of aircrafts actually landing at the base. Most resupply is now done by airdrops or by helicopter sling. As it is, even planes making air drops are subjected to enemy fire.
