ROK troops use raft of 6 inner tubes to float equipment across river in Tuy Hoa Valley. Troops of the 28th Republic of Korea (ROK) Regimental Combat Team are making a drive to clear Vietnam's rice-rich Tuy Hoa Valley and block Viet Cong supply routes from the sea. The operation which began the last week of November was conducted with fire support from the USS White River as well as a firepower assist from the U.S. 1st Brigade, 4th Infantry Division.
