Tokyo USO, 1955

Dignitaries Open Tokyo USO (L to R) Sterling A. Fisher, Laurence W. Taylor, Brig. Gen. Garrison B. Coverdale, and Samuel O. Morrealle. The first USO Club in Japan is housed in the same building that once housed one of Tokyo's smartest night spots: Club Moyoyama. The three-story structure stands across from Matsuya Department Store on the Ginza.The opening address was given by Chairman Sterling W. Fisher of Redear's Digest. The invocation was delivered by Lt. Col Samuel O. Morrealle, senoir chaplain at Tokyo Chapel Center.
