Stars and Stripes Pacific reporters and editors are working hard to get copy ready in time for the next print deadline in the newsroom at the paper's Hardy Barracks offices. The editorial staff moved into the old Japanese Army barracks from their first home on the third floor of the Nippon Times on November 29, 1953. By December of that year, the business, circulation and production facilities had also moved into the building, housing all Stripes' departments under one roof.
