Lt. Regis Milan, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania carries his dog around in a suitcase as he is waiting for his unit to move out of the airport. Lt. Milan and the rest of the 6th Battalion, 31st Infantry, 9th Infantry Division soldiers just arrived in country and disembarked at an unidentified South Vietnam airport. Lt. Milan carried the puppy in the suitcase from Fort Lewis, Washington state.
