A heavily-loaded bus provides a test for a bridge being built by U.S. Navy Seabees on Route 1 between Phu Loc and Lang Co in South Vietnam's coastal lowlands. The previous bridge had been destroyed by Viet Cong shelling, and attacks continued during the construction effort.
