TOKYO — A bombshell is scheduled to hit Vietnam, but it's not the type troops there have been used to.

This bombshell is red-haired, curvaceous Ann-Margret.

The 24-year-old movie and recording star is planning a visit to the Republic of Vietnam in early November to entertain troops.

She will be accompanied by singing star Johnny Rivers.

Ann-Margret, who says dresses in the U.S. are not short enough for her taste, is in Japan promoting her latest movie "The Cincinnati Kid," which also stars Steve McQueen.

At a press conference here Tuesday, Ann-Margret said she was to return to Los Angeles Wednesday to begin rehearsals for her Vietnam tour.

The exact date and schedule has not been determined, she said.

When asked about marriage plans, the soft-spoken actress said, "I'm not going to get married for five or six years. And that's definite."

In reply to questions about her measurements, she smiled and said, "I'm five-foot-four, I weigh 114 pounds, and my waist is 23 inches. I don't remember the rest."
